How to Use the Jega Website: Find Jobs, Apply and Track Your Progress

Find suitable vacancies, complete the three-step application, save your references and use My Jega, CV registration, alerts and phone installation with confidence.

A promising vacancy catches your eye. You open the link, read the salary and think, “This could be for me.” What should you do next—and how do you know whether your application actually reached the recruitment team?

The Jega Outsourcing Network website brings several useful tools together. The key is knowing which one to use. This guide explains the applicant journey, from finding a suitable role to keeping your application reference safe.

Guide checked: 2 September 2026. Vacancy details and service availability can change; always follow the current information on the relevant page.

Start here: choose the right route

- Want a job that is advertised now? Browse available jobs, open the role and apply for that vacancy.

- Want to be considered for future opportunities? Use Register CV.

- Want to organise your preferences and references? Use My Jega.

- Already submitted an application? Use Track Application.

- Need help improving your CV? Explore the separate, optional CV writing service.

These are different services. Saving a My Jega profile does not submit an application, and registering your CV does not automatically apply you to every vacancy. Direct links to each service are provided at the end of this guide.

1. Find a role that fits your circumstances

Open the Jobs page and use the search box or filters for location, job type, salary range and industry. If the first results do not suit you, select “Load more jobs” or clear the filters and try again.

Do not judge a vacancy by its title alone. Select “View role” and check:

- The actual workplace location and your likely transport cost.

- Working days, start time, closing time and days off.

- Salary, benefits and whether accommodation is explicitly offered.

- Qualifications, practical skills and experience required.

- Duties you would be expected to perform.

- Whether the position is still open.

For example, two Sales Representative vacancies may involve very different products, hours and travel costs. Apply to the one you can realistically perform—not simply the one with the most attractive headline.

The website displays vacancy statistics and update information. These help you explore, but the individual role page is the place to check the current vacancy details. An old social-media flyer is not proof that a role remains available.

2. Use the three-step application form

Choose “Apply with CV” for the role you want. The application form is organised into three stages.

Step 1: confirm the role

Check that the selected position is correct. Read the location, schedule and requirements before continuing. This helps prevent sending a good application to the wrong vacancy.

Step 2: enter your details carefully

Provide your full name, phone number, email address, current location and relevant experience. Use a phone number you answer and an email account you can access. Explain experience that relates to the actual job rather than copying a general message into every application.

Step 3: upload your CV and review consent

The form accepts PDF, DOC and DOCX CV files up to 10 MB. A photograph is not required for the CV-only application. Check that your document opens correctly and that its contact details match the form.

Read the recruitment consent and candidate data notice, then submit. Wait for the website's confirmation and keep the reference provided. A screenshot or a private note containing the reference, job title, date and application email makes follow-up easier.

Applications are free. Purchasing a CV service, joining a social group or paying someone for access is not a requirement for applying through Jega.

3. Track the application using the same email

Open Track Application and enter the reference provided after submission together with the same email address used on the form. Check both entries for typing errors before requesting the status.

You can also add your reference and application email to the tracker inside My Jega. Keep a separate record of your references, particularly if you regularly change phones or clear browser data.

A submitted application is not a job offer. Continue preparing for interviews and checking suitable vacancies while the recruitment process takes place.

4. Understand what My Jega saves

My Jega is a private workspace in your browser, without a password-based account. You can save your current area, highest qualification, preferred roles or skills, and application email, then select “Save profile and match jobs”.

The matching feature helps you identify roles worth reading. Recommendations are not confirmation that you qualify, have been shortlisted or will be employed.

Important privacy distinction: the saved profile and reference list stay in that browser. Jega receives information when you submit an application, talent registration or alert request. Do not assume your saved workspace automatically appears on another phone. Use a private device, and remember that clearing browser storage may remove locally saved information.

5. Register your CV when no current job fits

Register CV is for people who want Jega to consider their profile when suitable opportunities arise. The form asks about your qualifications, location, availability, preferred roles and experience, alongside your contact information and CV.

Read the consent about storing and reviewing your profile and sharing it with a suitable employer after screening. The talent pool is not a public CV directory. Registration is an expression of interest, not a promise of placement.

If a suitable advertised role becomes available, read it and submit a vacancy-specific application rather than assuming your talent registration covers that role.

6. Set alert preferences—but keep checking the website

The vacancy alerts page lets you request email, WhatsApp or both, and choose your preferred locations, categories and qualification level.

At the time this guide was checked, preferences could be saved, but the page stated that automatic delivery would begin when Jega's verified messaging providers were connected. Saving preferences should therefore not be mistaken for an already-active automatic alert service.

Keep checking the Jobs page directly. If you want to stop an alert request, the page provides a stop form using your alert reference and the same email or WhatsApp number. Alerts do not require a CV or identity document.

7. Keep Jega within easy reach on your phone

Look for the “Keep Jega Jobs on your phone” banner and select “View install steps”.

- Android: use the offered Install option or your browser menu's “Install app” option when available.

- iPhone: open the website in Safari, tap Share and choose “Add to Home Screen”.

Menu names can vary by browser. This provides a convenient way back to the website; it is not a promise that applications work offline. You still need an internet connection to retrieve current vacancies and submit forms.

8. Use the learning, stories and support pages

The Jega Journal contains career advice, CV guidance, interview preparation and workplace articles. Search by topic or use the categories to find help with your next step.

The Stories page includes routes to Jega's TikTok, Instagram and Facebook content. If you do not use TikTok, choose an alternative official page. Individual experiences can be useful, but they do not guarantee the same result for every applicant.

Professional CV writing is an optional paid service. Its page currently lists a ₦5,000 fee and explains payment and delivery terms. Check the live terms before paying. Buying it does not purchase preferential recruitment treatment or a guaranteed job.

For assistance, use the website's Help option, contact WhatsApp 0705 815 3725, or email jega.outsourcingagency@gmail.com . Explain the job title and the issue clearly. Never share a banking PIN, password or one-time code.

If an application does not go through

If the website says “Your submission was not saved”, do not treat the application as successful. Check your connection and CV format/size, then retry when the service is available. If the problem continues, contact Jega with the vacancy title and error message. Do not repeatedly send sensitive documents into public groups.

Before closing the page, ask yourself: did I receive confirmation, did I keep the reference, and can I access the email address I entered?

Your next step: browse the current vacancies, choose a suitable role and apply carefully. A clear, relevant application gives the recruitment team better information to review.
